Patrick Morrell, Co-Founder and VP of Customer Success

As the son of a former Chief Medical Officer for a public health system, Pat has a long-standing passion for the business side of healthcare. Prior to co-founding Digitize.AI, Pat was the Director of Inside Sales for the Sealed Air Corporation where he built the enterprise's first inside sales organization and led an analytics-driven approach to managing a $125MM+ product portfolio. Previously he held sales leadership roles at two NC-based startups, founded and sold an e-commerce venture, and led a successful career in national campaign politics. The University of the South (Sewanee), BA Political Science.

Mark Henry, Co-Founder and Lead Engineer

Prior to joining Digitize.AI, Mark was a software developer with Levvel, a fast-growing international digital transformation software development firm. Previously Mark was a lead developer at AvidXchange, one of Charlotte's tech unicorns, where he led the effort to build AvidXchange's payments platform. This core platform has been instrumental in helping the company grow from 50 people to more than 1,200. Alex Smith, Director of Operations

Prior to joining Digitize.AI, Alex worked in multiple operation and marketing roles in the healthcare and hospitality industries. Most recently, Alex held Practice Manager and Regional Sales Director roles with Sona Dermatology & MedSpa.  Combining creativity and collaboration to produce efficient operational processes is her passion and main focus at Digitize.AI.  University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, BA Public Relations and Marketing.

Justin Adams, Co-founder and CEO

Having spent the better half of the past decade involved with Artificial Intelligence and automation before co-founding Digitize.AI, Justin was a partner at Independence Consulting where he led the A.I. practice. Prior to Independence Consulting, he spent six years at PwC where he led global innovation initiatives focused on transforming the back office and helped build PwC’s Automation Center of Excellence. Justin began his career as an Intelligence Officer and sat on an advisory board for In-Q-Tel. Justin taught himself to code (badly) in Python. Wheaton College, BA Economics. Prior to joining Digitize.AI, Ravi worked on various Machine learning and AI projects while pursuing his Masters in Computer Science. An experienced and enthusiastic data scientist, Ravi joined Digitize.AI as a machine learning engineer. Prior to joining Digitize.AI, Jayde held communications roles with Broadcast Communications and Condé Nast while also launching her own media and eCommerce business. Prior to joining Digitize.AI, Naveen worked as a Natural Language Processing teaching assistant at UNC Charlotte where he specialized in Intelligent and Interactive Systems. Bob is Chairman of the Board of Directors at SPX FLOW and a member of Deloitte's Financial Executive Advisory Group. Previously, he spent more than 17 years at Lowe's, including 14 years as Chief Financial Office. Also, he served ten years as a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

Mark is co-founder of My Next Season. Prior to My Next Season, Mark spent 27 years at Bank of America in various senior management positions, including Corporate Treasurer. Mark is on the Board of Directors at CNL Strategic Capital (Levine Leichtman) and CNL CCT2 (KKR). Previously, Mark had been a member of the Board of Directors of BlackRock, Deposit Trust, and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), and Opportunity International.

Tammara has a proven track record of strong digital strategy and customer experience from her work at Fortune 500 companies, including Microsoft and Lowes. Robert is a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group in Womble Bond Dickson's Charlotte, NC, office. Robert is a longtime community leader and civic board member in Charlotte and also with strong ties to the Piedmont Triad, Triangle, and Eastern North Carolina regions. Robert has served as board of director member and trustee of various charitable and civic organizations. He is the immediate past chairman of the Board of Trustees of East Carolina University.

Prior to North Highland, Mike worked for Arthur Andersen Business Consulting where he made Partner and was a Managing Director at BearingPoint.

Tim is a Managing Partner of Crosland Southeast and is responsible for strategic growth, management, and capital markets. Time is also very involved operationally in all development and acquisition efforts. Prior to formation of Crosland Southeast, Tim served as President of Crosland Investment Services. Tim is a Board Member at Project 658, Rivers of the World, and The Barnabas Center.

Mike is the Chief Information Officer for the $11B Family Dollar division of Dollar Tree. He is responsible for IT strategy, service delivery, portfolio management, and project delivery for the 8k store chain. Mike previously served in a number of IT leadership roles at Lowes.

Keith is a Managing Director at Independence Consulting. He has spent over 25 years working with Fortune 500 clients in the Financials Services industry. He is a former Managing Director of North Highland where led many of the largest Financial Services clients for the firm and was the Market Leader for the Atlanta office. His specific areas of expertise include business transformation, strategic planning, digital strategy, and merger integration with banking, insurance, and wealth management companies. 

Jay Plueger

SVP Strategic Initiatives and Corporate Development at AvidXchnage, a leading NC technology company. Jay has over 20 years of sales, product management, project management, and consulting experience in the technology industry. In the course of his time at AvidXchange, he created the company's first Product Management Department, and is currently spearheading the Strategic Initiatives Team focused on corporate development and high impact projects. Jay received his B.A. in Business Management from Luther College in Decorah, IA, completed graduate courses at McColl School of Business, Queens University of Charlotte, and holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from Project Management Institute.
